VENETIAN HOTEL & CASINO Pre-Grand Opening Gala Las Vegas, Nevada
What do
you do when you need 30,000 square feet of space for a party, but there is a
swimming pool right in the middle of it? The Venetian Hotel & Casino called White House Staging
& Production to convert their 5,000 square foot swimming pool and
surrounding deck area into a single-level venue for a night of music and
celebration. Utilizing the Wenger
Vision System, a platform was installed to cover the existing swimming
pool. The job was so flawlessly executed that it was impossible to
differentiate where the concrete ended and the pool began. As a
result of this innovative solution from the craftsmen at White House Staging
& Production, thousands of party-goers celebrated all night long to the
music of Kenny Loggins and Tony Bennett! PHOENIX OPEN Motorola Skybox Complex at the Phoenix Open Scottsdale, Arizona White House Staging & Production created and produce a multi-tiered, four-tent structure at the Phoenix Open for Motorola, the presenting sponsor. The four-tent complex was the home of guest registration, a media penthouse, a catering compound and a customer skybox. Exterior Features included two patios with 712 linear feet of tabletop railing and seating for 400. A custom two-way staircase and a multi-level 160 foot access ramp were built to provide access to guest services and cart paths. Sitting high on a hill above the 18th green of the Phoenix Open was the grandest skybox on the PGA Tour. Interior features included 200 linear feet of raised oak paneling, a three-sided serviceable oak bar, tartan plaid wall-to-wall carpet and a pleated fabric tent liner. Accented by turn-of-the-century classic golf decor, the elegant interior featured leather living room suites, oriental rugs and rich tapestry pillows. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship were keys to the successful creation of this magnificent spectacle.
